Best Gas Powered Pressure Washer
1. Simpson Cleaning PS3228-S 3200 PSI at 2.8 GPM
This is a powerful pressure washer; at 3200 PSI and 2.8 GPM, this pressure washer is built to make your chores easier. The hose is kink and abrasion resistant, meaning that it will last longer and won’t be as susceptible to general wear and tear.
It comes with a range of nozzle tips to select the best one for your job. It is equipped with a Honda engine and heavy-duty tires. There is also onboard storage for all your accessories.
Gas pressure washers can be a bit noisy and cumbersome to move around. This pressure washer doesn’t come with quick detach/attach couplings on the hose. If you aren’t careful, it is easy to catch the hose on the exhaust pipe. The hose is 25 feet long, which is standard for a pressure washer.

2. Generac 7019 OneWash 3,100 PSI, 2.4 GPM
Cheaper than the Simpson, the Generac 7091 sports 3100 PSI and 2.4 GPM. T has an integrated Power Dial on the spray gun, which allows you to adjust the pressure. You can easily move between 4 different settings; car, wood, concrete, and soap.
This means you don’t have to stop and fiddle around with different nozzles while you are trying to get on with the job. The detergent tank holds half a gallon, and the hose is 25 feet long. Similarly to the Simpson, the hose isn’t in the best of places, and it is easy for it to come into contact with the exhaust. You will need to watch where your hose is while you are using the pressure washer.
3. Simpson Cleaning MSH3125-S 3100 PSI at 2.5 GPM
This pressure washer doesn’t have quite as much force behind it as its brother. So, this pressure washer may not be as go regarding the more heavy-duty duties that need to be done. It comes with the abrasion-resistant hose, 5 nozzle attachments and is fitted with a Honda engine. The 25-foot long hose is at the other end from the exhaust on this machine. This means there will be fewer problems with melting hoses!
The holder for the nozzles is known for going walkabout, though. The vibrations have caused the nozzles to be able to escape from the holder, and the bad design has received some criticism. However, this appears to be being dealt with, and a new nozzle holder has been designed.

5. Powerstroke PS80519B 2200 psi
This is the cheapest on our list, but despite that, it still gets good gas pressure washer ratings. The PSI is distinctly lower than the other models, so if you are looking for a powerful washer, this may not be the one to go for. It comes with 3 nozzles and a quick connect nozzle coupler, saving the hassle of having to fiddle around between jobs.
There is no soap dispenser, meaning you will have to cart around your detergent with you, which isn’t ideal. If you are only going to be doing small jobs that aren’t very frequent, this may still be okay for you. But, if you are going to be doing heavy-duty cleaning jobs and using it often, this probably won’t cut it.
The Best Electric Pressure Washer
1. Sun Joe SPX3000 Pressure Joe 2030 PSI 1.76 GPM 14.5-Amp
Electric pressure washers tend to be much cheaper than most gas pressure washers. This is because a power cord restricts you; they are less powerful and not as heavy-duty. This pressure washer gives you 2030 PSI and 1.76 GPM. Despite being less powerful than a gas pressure washer, it is the most powerful of the electric ones on this list.
It has 5 quick connect nozzle tips and 2 0.9 liter detergent tanks. This enables you to tackle different tasks using different detergents without changing the cleaning fluid. This pressure washer stops the pump when the trigger is not engaged to save energy.
There have been reports of the connector to the hose being faulty, but this seems to be a known issue, and the company can provide you with a replacement part if required.
2. AR Blue Clean AR383 1,900 PSI
This pressure washer comes with two different high-pressure quick change wands. One has a variable nozzle so you can adjust the spray, and the other is a turbo spray wand. This enables you to tackle different jobs and stubborn areas of cleaning.
It’s straightforward to assemble; all you need to do is attach the hose reel and the handle. It is lightweight and easy to move about. As with the above model, the hose connector is plastic, and there are many reports of it leaking and therefore wasting water.
3. Karcher K5.540 2000 PSI, 1.4 GPM
This electric pressure washer is slightly pricier than the last, but still nowhere near the price of a gas pressure washer. It comes with a Vario Power Spray wand, which lets you switch easily from detergent to high-pressure spray and adjust the pressure.
It comes with a second wand, which allows you to increase the pressure so you can tackle tough jobs. This pressure washer can also draw water from a standing source, which is handy if you don’t have a faucet. This option requires an additional part to be purchased.
As with the other electric pressure washers, the hose connector leaks, and most people advise you to replace it with a brass one.
4. Karcher K1700 Electric Power Pressure Washer 1700 PSI TruPressure
The cheapest option so far is this Karcher pressure washer with 3 different nozzles. It is also equipped with all-metal hose connections to combat the leaky plastic ones the other ones come with.
It’s easy to move about, easy to use, and easy to get set up. This is the best Karcher pressure washer for patios and whatever else you wish to sluice off.
